The Dalbeattie Wood Clipboard is designed to help children to explore nature. Each clipboard is themed with images to help identify plants or animals that may be found in the United Kingdom.
Our clipboard is an ideal way to spark and encourage children’s interest in the plants and animals around them. It can be used for recording what they find by attaching a blank piece of paper for writing and drawing what is seen, or attaching an observation list on which different finds can be recorded. The latter is a perfect way to start and good for younger children who have not yet developed writing skills, but are mark making. Observation lists are also a good way to introduce numeracy into nature watching as the numbers observed can easily be recorded.

Product specifications:

• This product is designed and hand made by Dalbeattie Wood.
• The clipboard is constructed out of 3mm birch veneered plywood and the design is engraved using a CNC laser cutting and engraving machine.
• A spring loaded surface mountable clip and hole hanger with rubber edge for grip is attached to the plywood with metal cap rivets.
• External dimensions - approximately 21.5cm by 15cm for the small Clipboard.
